Day 74 (Week 11)

Shoulders and Arms, Ab Ripper X

Well I’ve been to the doctor and my lower back is messed up. It’s likely that it’s SI joint dysfunction that I ‘ve had trouble with in the past. Essentially it’s my pelvis that’s out of alignment and that’s causing my hip and lower back muscles to draw up higher on one side. I’ve been on some muscle relaxers and have been going to physical therapy. I’m doing much better and I’ve been given the green light to return to my workouts. I’ll probably need to avoid Plyometrics for a bit because of the jarring nature of the workout. I’ve missed 9 days so I don’t plan to count those days. I’ll pick up where I left off in my workout routine. In addition to my physical therapy I’ve got some specialized core exercises to strengthen my back.

Today’s workout felt really good and it was easy on my back since it was basically a weight-lifting routine.
